On the Eleventh day of Christmas... Christmas fairy cakes

For this scrummy Christmas treat you will need the following:

100g of butter
100g caster sugar
2 eggs, beaten
100g self raising flower

Step 1

Cream the butter and sugar until its pale and fluffy


Step 2

Add the egg a little at a time, making sure you beat it so its light and fluffy


Step 3

Fold in the flower using a tablespoon


Step 4

Spread paper cases onto a baking sheet

Step 5

Fill the cases with 2/3 of the mixture


Step 6

Put in the preheated oven at gas mark 5 for 15 -20 minutes

Step 7

Leave to cool before decorating
