Firstly, I would like to start off by apologising for how quiet and out of routine this blog has been. At the beginning of the year, both my nan and her twin sister were taken ill and spent a couple of months in hospital. This took its toll on both me and my family - what with working, joining the gym and the strict visiting times at the hospital - I felt unable to keep up with posting each week. Last month it was decided that both ladies would no longer be safe to live at home, therefore the family and social services came to the sad conclusion that they would need to be put in nursing homes. This was by no means an easy decision to make but was made with their safety in mind. This has meant me and my family have had two houses to sort and clear in just a short space of time. We are now coming to the end of this and I feel I am able to pick up where I left off. I can't promise that I will be posting as often as I have previously, however I would like to get more into a routine again.
On to other news - I am now 21! A enjoyed my 21st birthday just over a week ago and I have to admit I have been well and truly spoilt. I will hopefully be able to show you just some of the items I was lucky enough to receive - It may even inspire you if you are struggling for present ideas. I have enjoyed every moment of being 21 so far and have been able to bask in the sunshine and warm weather that we have had recently! Since turning 21, I have definitely felt different - more mature perhaps and there are some things I feel I don't need or want to do. I think going to the gym has helped me as I now have a goal to get fit and healthy and so far I have managed to stay motivated.
Well that's it for now but come back on Wednesday where I will be able to show you just a few of the presents I have received
