Collective Haul

Over the last couple of months, I have been so busy planning Christmas that I haven't had much time to do any shopping - shocking I know! I have picked up a few items however so I thought I would put them together in a haul for you.

I recently went to Yorkshire for a weekend away. Although I had never been before, it is a place very close to my heart as some of my family came from there and my dad grew up there. I couldn't leave without buying something so I book these two recipe books one of which contains recipes of Yorkshire. These books are made my Salmon Books and I have been collecting these for quite while. They are so easy to follow and don't take up much room to store. They are great if you are doing a themed evening, such as a Yorkshire one which I intend to do soon.

I also recently bought the tv drama Cilla on dvd. I had recorded it to watch but unfortunately it didn't record all of it so I bought the dvd to watch it. Its such a shame that Cilla has died since this came out but I'm glad she was still alive when it was made.

Lastly I bought this 'My Organised Life' from The Range. It comes in this really sturdy pretty floral case. Inside, it contains thin strips and normal sized post-it notes, which I have found great for using in my diary to remind me of things. It also has small list pad pages that are the perfect size to keep in my purse. The daily schedule pages have been used to set up my weekly routines. I have a cleaning one, workout one, and beauty one so far but these would also be great for planning meals. They have no dates on them so you can use them as you wish. Lastly there is also a small envelope section that you can keep some of these notes or other small pieces of paper.

So there we have it, a small collective haul of the few items I have bought over the last couple of months. I am yet to watch Cilla or try out the recipes (although I am organising my Yorkshire dinner party),  I have been using the organiser pages everyday and I'm completely in love with them. They are even perfect for planning Christmas present ideas!

Until Next Time
