So for today's Food Friday post I thought I would share with you a really quick and simple healthy dinner.
For this recipe all you need is:
A small amount of spaghetti
Quorn mince meat
Your favourite pasta sauce
Whilst the spaghetti is boiling and the Quorn mince is frying, I use a setting on my spiraliser to make pretty shapes with the courgette. I was originally going to do corgetti, however, I found this way meant that I ate more courgette so I didn't need as much spaghetti. I added the courgette to the Quorn mince and to that added the pasta sauce. My favourite is the low fat tomato pasta sauce from the Co-Op. Once the spaghetti is cooked I drain it and add this first to the bowl, baring in mine I have only used about 4 or 5 strands just to give me some carbs for dinner. next goes on the courgette, mince and sauce and that is it. It really is that simple! Quorn mince is a great way to get extra protein which is perfect for me as I've been working out really hard at the gym.
